Thank you for taking the time to read about our operation. We are located in Northwest Indiana, about an hour north of West Lafayette & Purdue University and an hour and 1/2 south of Chicago. We currently run roughly 150 head of ewes. 100 head of black face ewes are of primarily hamp influence & based from Rule & Johnson & Neff genetics. Our Dorset flock is small but superior quality with many state fair winners being produced. Our Southdown flock has grown over the years to roughly 25 head, based on solid genetics and recently influxed with Hired Hand and Northern Star breeding pieces. We start lambing early December and run til roughly March. We sell all early lambs through an online format at www.wlivestock.com starting mid February and sell by age groups - making sure each sale offers the very best of what is in our barn for that age.
